Roderick van Hasselt started silkscreenprinting in 2020 and became a member of mesh printclub in Rotterdam. The creative proces of preparing a photograph/design and the artisanal printing process are very satisfying to him. Most of his prints are based on photographs taken during his career at sea. He has been photographing since the age of 16 and did an anlog B&W photography course in 1999. In 2021 he joined the printing collective 'Rotterdam Art Prints'. He is a former seafarer, presently working as marine pilot in the port of Rotterdam.
